Description of Service
Sygil is an educational thinking tool that explores questions through multiple perspectives using AI-generated responses. The App includes Q&A, Debate, Reflect, and Kids Mode features.
AI-Generated Content
Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date.
Sygil is a learning and thinking aid, not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).
You should independently verify any information before relying on it.
Confidence indicators are AI estimates and do not guarantee factual accuracy.
Kids Mode
Kids Mode is designed for learners aged 8-12 and provides simplified language and age-appropriate content.
Parental supervision is recommended when children use the App.
Kids Mode does not guarantee that all AI-generated content will be suitable for all children.
Subscriptions & Purchases
Free tier: 5 questions per day, up to 5 bookmarks.
Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the App's operation.
Use automated tools to send excessive requests to the service.
Intellectual Property
The Sygil name, logo, design, and original code are the property of the developer. AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use and may not be systematically redistributed.
Service Availability
Sygil relies on external AI services to generate responses. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, server issues, or third-party outages.
Limitation of Liability
Sygil is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the App or reliance on AI-generated content.
Referral Program
Sygil offers a referral program that allows users to share a referral code and earn bonus daily asks.
Referral codes are single-use per recipient. Self-referral is not permitted.
Bonus asks earned through referrals are non-transferable and have no cash value.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program at any time without notice.
Data Deletion
You can delete all app data at any time from Settings > "Delete all data" within the app.
This permanently removes all conversations, debates, journal entries, bookmarks, and progress from your device.
This action cannot be undone. Since we do not store your data on our server, there is no server-side data to delete.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in accordance with applicable U.S. law.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The current version will always be available at this page.
